Hop On The Carousel

The device is a little disarming at first glance. Though relatively large - 13.8" x 13.4" x 6.4" (360 x 340 x 170 mm) - the Disc Stakka is surprisingly light. Even with 100 discs inside, its weight is still reasonable.

The Disc Stakka is designed to be efficient and above all simple to use. All you do is connect it to your PC via a USB port. The Disc Stakka is self-powered, so you don't have to plug it into an electrical outlet, though it does have to be connected directly to a port on the computer, or else a powered USB hub.

With this type of product, the software is all-important. Here it's called OpdiTracker. We had no problem with the installation.

As soon as it's installed you'll be ready to store discs the same way you would store files. The application integrates perfectly with Windows XP, adding a new peripheral under My Computer. So the Disc Stakka becomes part and parcel of Windows, which greatly simplifies management.
