Fall Extreme Gamer System Shootout begins with Liquid XS from All American Computers : Introduction
Introduction

Several months ago we began our coverage of the best SLI systems. At the time, we tested three systems with Nvidia's 6800 Ultras as their base graphics engines. OF course, times have changed, and we have newer and (hopefully) more capable products to look at.
Earlier this summer Nvidia released its latest and greatest graphics product called the 7800 GTX . After doing our analysis of its latest card, we promised to review the product in a series of high-end systems and compare them against our reference platform.
So as the summer comes to a close, we have been busy looking at the cream of the extreme. What is out there for the hardcore gamer? How about for the IT professional who only wishes to go home at the end of the day and just be able to play instead of monkeying around with his or her system?
In our test labs we have looked at the following systems based on this newest SLI monster:
- All American Computers Liquid XS
- CyberPower Gamer Ultra XLC
- Alienware ALX,
- Falcon Northwest Mach V
- Totally Awesome Computers Ridiculously Insane
- ABS M6
We'll take each of these systems one and at a time and post a review every few days over the next few weeks. After we post all six system reviews, we will have a wrap-up article to pit the systems against each other so you can see how each stands against their high-performance peers.
So let's take a closer look at the first system, All American Computers Liquid XS.
