Data Transfer Diagram

The transfer diagram doesn't show any surprises.
Read Transfer Performance

Hitachi's new Deskstar 7K1000 provides the highest average transfer rate of all 7,200 RPM hard drives. This is probably the most interesting metric for 3.5" desktop hard drives.
Write Transfer Performance

The write performance doesn't differ much from the read performance.
