The gigabyte board has the same power phases amount has the asus sabertooth(8+2), it's cheaper, offers the same features.
Sorry but a little misinformed. We need to do some homework.
Line them up, feature for feature and gigabyte always comes up short except for the inclusion of the older IEEE 1394 port. The Sabertooth has many more features that the Giga wished it had. Many of the features like the LAN, connectivity, audio, raid are older version used by the gigabyte board, where the Asus board uses the latest. The Sabertooth uses the best components available and has the best warranty and length (5 years) around. Is this gigabyte even close? No....
The gigabyte board is cheaper for all the obverse reasons: less features, dated and older version of most of everything else and that seems to be pretty much a black and white situation.
