Hi All. I have Abit AV8 with VT8237 SB on it, and new Saegate ST1000NC001 SATA-3 HDD.
Drive could not be detected by default. It has some 4-pin jumper set on it, but til now I can't find wich ones must be set to force a drive to work with SATA-150 controller, if it could be so. Can you help me?

Thanks, All.
I tried that, and no matter jumpers, it didn't work. Guess them really do not work on last ST models.
I've thought about it, and have decided that it's time to upgrade that old pc completely.

That would explain the failure of the Seagate / Maxtor "Force 150" jumpering option to make any difference. Just curious-- where did you get your information? The Force 150 option is still posted on the Seagate website.
