Recently i have been experiencing a lot of DDOS attacks and my ISP are a bunch if idiots who dont understand what it is and wont do anything about it!
can anyone recommend a good free VPN or something similar to stop getting DDOS attacks? they are occurring from people getting my IP from skype, even if i appear offline or am offline they can still get my IP, and the other way is within multiplayer games such as call of duty :(
Thanks in advance!

Here you go: http://justfreevpn.com/ The servers and usernames remain the same, but the passcodes for the PPTP connection changes daily. Anonymity is guaranteed (just dont vioate the laws of your country, and don't violate their terms of use.)...

Here you go: http://justfreevpn.com/ The servers and usernames remain the same, but the passcodes for the PPTP connection changes daily. Anonymity is guaranteed (just dont vioate the laws of your country, and don't violate their terms of use.). I will suggest an alternative: See if you can get their IP address, and report them to the authorities. If you do not already know how to get their IP addresses, I would use Cain & Abel, which can be downloaded here: http://www.oxid.it/Cain.html Look on YouTube for a tutorial, there are many, but make sure the majority of ratings are positive (to ensure you are looking at a legitimate tutorial.). You will know if it is their IP address if the IP doesn't start with 65, and the IP that they are communicating with shows up as the router's IP for the computer &/or game console. You'll know what I mean when you know what you're doing. When you get the IP, it might help if you confirm their locations (this is an option, but if you don't know their locations, don't worry), and you can do this by going to http://www.whatismyip.com/ and using the IP lookup to check the discovered IP addresses. If you want, I could simply get their IPs, troll them off, and boot them offline myself (seeing as they might have VPNs protecting themselves). Good luck!

Hmm...

A phone call to a police and to my ISP was the first my action. And i wonder why that 'alternative' way still does not work.

I see the same issue is happening on a third-party game-server that many peoples have to use to play a one old and good game online.

There are a hackers on the server that get an IP-addresses of players and make a DDoS attack.

I have an IP-addresses of that hackers, information about their location and ISP. There are a few web-forums where peoples say about these hackers, share an information and technical details of that attacks.
But authorities do nothing and ISPs do nothing.
ISP can only give a NAT option for internet connection that hides real IP-address, and this still doesn't work against that attacks.
Authorities ask for proof, and there are no way to get proof.
ISP of hacker just say: "write a message to abuse@..." Messages was sent, months left and hackers still make attacks using the same ISP.

This "justfreevpn" seems doubtful as a protection against these attacks. As long as this kind of protection against DDoS attacks is actually quite expensive.

It's pity that such a criminals may do their criminal activity and keep on stay unpunished...

I have found a one of many VPN service that works correctly with this third-party p2p-client.
Now hackers are online and internet still works. So, will see...

My real IP-address is dynamic, it is changed every time when i reset my router, and MAC address is static and should not be changed because of ISP requirements.

I can advise you this vpn http://faceless.me/. It completely protects your data, application, hides your ip address, еncrypt your confidential data.
It's free and as i know does not even require any registration. Try it
