So i have this software called MSI Control Center which i find to be very good for managing my chasis fan speeds however i have to manually launch this program on every startup because MSCONFIG does not force it to run as it does with all my other programs that i've enabled for startup launch.

I have the Startup item " MSI Control Center Count " checked to run on startup however it does not. This is an isolated case mind you, i've never had MSCONFIG refuse to launch any other program or not launch it ever on any system... It's weird but i figured some of you guys might be able to help me troubleshoot this?

many thanks for reading this :)

I see the problem now.

The Path to the actual program " MSI Control Center " is at C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\ControlCenter.exe
However the Startup item on the MSCONFIG is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\ControlCenter\ControlCenterCount.exe which is probably just some other related process.

Now my question is how do i add " C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\ControlCenter.exe " to the " Startup item " - list ? It's not listed so i can't check/uncheck it :/ ....

Go to the folder containing the exe and r-click on it. Select create a shortcut.
Drag the shortcut right out of the window and hover with it over the start button.
When that pops up hover with the shortcut over the "all programs" until that comes up, then place the shortcut into the startup folder in the programs menu.

When you reboot it will come right up.

Woah it worked thanks a bunch Proximon! :D Now i only wonder how to make it automatically load the Fanspeed preset i made for ideal cooling and low noise. I have to load the file/preset to make the fans throttle down.
