I have a HP Pavilion g6 computer that is now a little over a year old. I hardly use the computer for anymore more than recording music. It was running fine until I installed my M-Audio Fast track USB. Now every time I leave the computer to idle for too long whether the audio interface is connected or not I get the Bugcode_USB_Driver error screen. I've contacted HP, but their department couldn't help my situation. All they did was update my BIOS, but the situation is still going on. The only other things that I have connected to my computer via USB is an external Hard drive and a USB adapter for a mouse. Can anyone help with this problem?

The codes under the technical information are: STOP: 0x000000FE
(0x0000000000000008, 0x0000000000000006, 0x0000000000000006xFFFFFA80059F3000)

Thank you for replying. I've downloaded the most recent drivers for this product numerous times. I'm not sure what else I can do on that front. How would I get to the advanced power settings? Is that in the control panel?

Thank you again.

Down below, DEWKINM mentioned changing the power settings. I've had this problem for 3 years with my ASUS laptop, and his solution fixed it. The only problem is when windows does some updates, sometimes resets the power options, so I just repeated his thing by going to the power options, advanced settings, USB options... and turning all that to "disabled".
