Depends on the drivers version, what's the minimum requirement for it?

By the way, SP3 has been out for a long time now. So you should definitely upgrade to SP3 and do all the other following updates after.

Just as a side note keep in mind that Microsoft will officially drop support for Windows XP on April 1st 2014. So no more security updates and patches after this date. Maybe plan for an OS upgrade before that date.

Thank you. The driver is version sp26468.exe. I already have sp3 on the computer, but am unable to complete the download because a pop up is telling me that service pack 2 needs to be installed before framework setup will resume. (The computer is an hp pavillon A6213W.)
