im looking to buy;
ASUS P9X79 le
intel i7-3820 3.6gh
EVGA geforce gtx 680
120gb SSD 1tb HDD
i want 2x8gb RAM for now. i was thinking crucial ballistix sport, but im unsure whether these will fit in the setup with the cooler, to which i was thinking an arctic cooling freezer7pro or maybe a noctua NH-D14. i have no idea what power supply i need and havn't decided on a case yet, if anyone wants to recommend one!
any help is much appreciated.

Lol... The cooler Master HAF X case is possibly one of the most popular high end computer gaming cases on the market today, and that’s because it’s damn good. Starting with the appearance of this case, it’s absolutely stunning. The entire “tank like” chassis is finished in black and wrapped in some very high quality steel and plastic. As its name, high air flow, implies, the major selling point of this case is in its top notch cooling performance. Up front through the mesh grill you get a 230mm red LED lit fan sucking plenty of air into the case while up top you also get a large 200mm fan complemented with another 140mm fan to round out the exhaust system. On one side of the case you also get a large window covering 3/4 of the sidepanel allowing you to show off your components, while the other 1/4 of the window houses an extra large 200mm intake fan for unprecedented graphics card cooling performance.

Of course, the case also features some other pretty sweet features such as USB 3.0 front headers, full support for every motherboard size between mATX to XL-ATX, excellent cable management, tool free installation, SLI/Crossfire support, and even casters so you can roll this badboy around.

that looks like a perfect build but... is the 850w psu not bit excessive or is that what the system will require. im not realy looking to overclock.

It's couple hundred watts more than you need, but no issue, it's going to cost about the same as the other PSU you were looking at right now, it's on sale with a rebate right now. Either Seasonic or Corsair are good.

Might just be easier to buy the Corsair instead of hassling with the rebate.

is that just gaming wise, or in general?

Gaming wise.

I live in southern California, air is polluted and dirty, unless you live near the ocean haha. No worries though, I use an air compressor once every 2 months and it comes our new looking.

I live in southern California as well and i know what you mean lol.But it's easy to clean the case.

Fairly quiet until you play games, I can hear my PC across my house when its loud, so....its mainly the H100 with 4 fans though.

think its worthwhile buying "silent" fans or are they jus a gimmick.. . is there a noticable difference?

Personal preference. If you are unhappy with how loud it is you can change the fans, it's not that loud.
