My MacBook Pro is having motherboard issues and until I can get it fixed or replaced I have been using a PC w/ Win 7 64. The HD from my Mac still works and I would like to get the pictures off of it. I have an external drive case that connects via usb but I can't figure out how to get to it. I can see it in Disk Management but when I right click to change the drive letter it is grey and not an option. The only option I have is "help." Can anyone help me get to my pictures?

The MBP disk would have be a journalled HFS file system. I'm thinking you'll need some application that can read HFS from Windows. I don't have much experience but hopefully this may explain why you just can't read the OSX drive and someone can point you along further.
