Installing new GFX card steps??

Hi guys,
So i will be getting my new Radeon 7770 in a few hours, upgrading from a Nvidia 9500GT. I would like to know is there any other steps since im switching platforms other than,
Uninstalling Nvidia Drivers
Install new Card
Reboot and Install New Drivers?

First download the latest AMD drivers from the Manufacturers website (search for your specific card on the driver download section) DO NOT install them yet. Then uninstall the Nvidia drivers (the computer will run in 800x600) Then swap the cards to the AMD one, reboot and it will detect a new hardware then install the AMD drivers you downloaded. and thats it...... PLAY!!!
Dont installl the AMD drivers first only, after putting the card it will get detected then install the drivers!!!

Nothing much more than that. You could do a registry sweep just to get rid of any leftovers after uninstall.
Also make sure to get the latest Cat 13.1 of AMDs site, do not use the driver CD.

Uninstall Nvidia Drivers
Turn off
Install new GPU
Turn on and install new drivers

You can run a driver sweeper program if you're afraid the drivers won't uninstall properly, personally don't do that myself

OK thanks guys for all your answers wish i could have chosen all as the best answer, and thanks alot to the TOM's hardware users who helped me build my new PC for the past three months, which shall be finished tomorrow
