Which processor and motherboard is better for Sap modules?

I am looking to buy desktop, please let me know which processor and motherboard i need to go for?. Some of my friends suggest to go for ASUS motherboard with intel processor. Please provide me the right configuration which betterly supports SAP modules(FICO and Abap)

You do not need a very high-end machine for learning SAP. You'll need 250GB of HaRD Disk, 3 GB ram and Dual core cpu (Core 2 duo is listed as a minimum).
Tell us a budget that you are targeting and we'll help you come up with a configuration.

But the latest version of FICO needs a 500 GB hardisk, it requires a minimum space of 320 gb for installation itself and requires a 500 gb harddisk. I experience very slow when i work on dual core processor. So looking for an advance chipset. My Budget is below 25000/-.
Do you have any idea about AMD processors? will amd support sap or not? Which is cheaper when compared to to intel.

Apologies about the misinformation over HDD space. AMD cpus are cheaper than Intel cpu's and are supported by SAP
