3D Based PC Build

First off, I realize you probably get these sort of questions all the time; I apologize in advance. I've done some digging, and realized that with the vast amount of information out there, and with how busy I am day to day with school, work and family, I just don't have the time to research and filter through all the information out there to build a PC.

With that being said, I was hoping that the brilliant members over here at tom's HARDWARE would be able to help me out.

I can't afford anything over 2,500, so I'm hoping to keep it more around 2,000, but I'll push it up towards 2,500 if I need to.

This computer will be used mostly for computer animation; so Maya, Mudbox, PS, and maybe some video editing.

Obviously Ram and the graphics card will be most important for this build.

I'm hoping that those that reply to this will break it down for me Barny style. I need a complete build, not just suggestions.

Also, any good suggestions for monitors would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick reply! The build looks great; do you think I'll need a CPU cooler? Any good suggestions for wireless internet connection and/or monitors?

I'll also be video chatting with people and using headphones, I'd imagine that needs a sound card, and audio output and input as well as a CAM. Any good suggestions on those components?

I'll probably go with the Quadro; thats a pretty beastly video card.

Thanks again for the help!
