Hi, I purchased NFS MW Criterion 2012 yesterday. Installed it completely from origin (as it is required in the instalation). But I am experiencing a lag in display when I am playing. The graphics are not smooth and works really slow.

My specs are

CPU: i5 3570K
OS: Win7
Graphic Card: Nvidia GE force EN210 1GB DDR3
Memory: 4GB
Hard Disk: 200 GB Free space
DX version: 11

Please help me, Did I made some mistake while buying above mentioned specs. I am currently playing COD MW2 and NFS Carbon without any problems and I am palnning to buy COD Black OPS2 soon. Please do advise what to do and how to correct this lagging of graphics problem.

P.S.: Please I am PC game maniac and really cannot resist without playing. So you all are requested to help me asap.

Solution
here's an idea, and so far it nvidia is sticking to their naming convention.

every generation, the higher the model number the faster the card is.
let's use your card as an example. gt210 belongs to the 200 series/family.

you have gtx 280, 270, 260. these 3 cards are good, and fast. you have gt210... that is like the lowest among them.

get a decent card please, you have a good cpu

Arich prescribed a Radeon HD 7850 from AMD, and yes, 8 gb of RAM. There are different board makers for AMD and nVidia GPUs that implement different kinds of improvements/deviations from the chip manufacturer's reference models, so there's a lot to choose from.

Thanks, this is indeed a solution. I had asked the local dealer here for 7850 model, he quoted me 20K Indian rupees. That's certainly I wasn't looking here. But thanks Cons, I guess it would be only few thousands more I have to spend to upgrade my card from the same 200 family.
