Hello,

Does anyone have an opinion on these 2 or 3 boards?

I was going to get the Pro3/Pro4 (whichever is cheaper, they are around the same price) with an i5-3350P.

However a deal came up with the GA-Z77-HD3 and an i5-3570 for about the same price or less. I realize the 3570 is only marginally better than the 3350P.

Based on this comparison (link), it doesn't seem like there are a lot of differences on paper. I lose a couple SATA 6Gb/s and USB 2.0 versus the Pro4, as well as some audio ports.

I don't plan on OC'ing, and my other components are a Crucial M4 and a 7870 or 7870 LE. So, barring any problems or reasons not to get the Gigabyte, it seems like a better deal than the Pro3/4 + 3350P.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Solution
If you do not plan on overclocking than you can buy a motherboard with H77 chipset which retains most function of the z77 motherboards but cost much less. Any good motherboard from asus gigabyte MSI that fits in your need you can buy. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I've been trying to find a review of this board but haven't been able to. Just some user reviews, seems to be pretty mixed so far. Hopefully more reviews come out soon.
