First Build, but nothing

I just completed my first build although I am not getting the BIOS? The fans kick on, keyboard lights, but the monitor is blank. I have checked all connections, even reseated the CPU. Where should I look next?

first of all, you cant crossfire 7750s. second, did you plug in the monitor into the video card rather than the motherboard?

Also have you checked if your mobo supports the Xeon without a bios update first?

I plugged the monitor into the motherboard (first by DVI and even tried the VGA output). What is crossfire?

Xfire is when you connect two GPU's to run in tandem to increase the graphic performance of a system.

If you have a dedicated graphics card you should plug the monitor into the graphics card and not into the mother board.

If they are crossfired they should have a little ribbon cable that connects the top of the two graphics cards, if you dont have one then you have one wasted GPU currently.

plug the monitor into the video card. the motherboard outputs cannot be used since the e3 1230v2 has no graphics

It seems to be working now that I plugged into one of the video cards. THank You so much. I thought it needed to start from the motherboard first.

I am a novice and buildig this machine only to day trade and the reason for the two video cards is to use 6 monitors. It appears these cards do not crossover, what did you mean thats a waste of GPU?

well then you should have bought yourself something like this. its more workstation oriented. its more expensive, but its meant for what you are doing

I meant it's wasted if you're not getting any use out of it.

On the top of the card there should be a little set of pins you can run a xfire cable between the two.

Like in the picture

They should work from what i can see. If you only have DVi monitors you will need a VGA to DVI or HDMI to DVI adapter as each card only has 2 DVi ports.

I am having a issue with the video cards. I can only get 4 of 6 monitors to work. The software from the graphic cards show 6 monitors but states I must release one monitor to add another. Why can I only get 2 per card? Isn't these cards suppose to run up to 4 monitors per card (2 - DVI, 1 HMDI and 1 VGA)?

Also the software stated I can crossfire but when I click it shuts off more monitors and I could not find any bridge wire or connectors on the cards.

At this point I am about to flush it all down the drain and buy a Dell. Never imagined video cards would be such a pain.

no. its just someone in the forums were giving bad advice.

there is a way to get 6 displays working, but you will need displayport outputs to do so, which your cards do not have. the w600 workstation card is your best bet at this rate

im not too sure on that part. from what i know, displayport can be daisy chained together. asking the graphics card department can help you out further. sorry that i cant give you a definite answer.
