I am building a new pc and have put these components on a list to buy:

Cpu: Amd Phenom II X4 965 Black edition
Motherboard: Asrock 970 Extreme 3
Graphics card: Asus radeon HD 7770 1Gb (possibly 2)
Ram: Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 1333MHz 8GB (2x 4gb)
PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB
Optical Drive: I have one from an old system
OS: I have a copy of Win/7

My question is are all of these parts compatible?
And is there anything that I can do to improve my build for no extra cost or even less cost if possible? Lastly what sort of performance should I expect to see from this pc?
