Hello, I'm in the process of building a gaming PC.

I got everything except the graphics Card, put it together and got it all working.

Then when I went to order a Gigabyte 7970 Ghz, it wouldn't work, I got no video, ever, don't even get boot and the monitor doesn't recognise the signal.

I tried everything, Reseating the GPU, Swapping PCI-E power cables going to the GPU.

I looked at all BIOS settings, I made PCI the primary video device yet still didn't work.

I tried a cheap little PCI-E Gpu in the slot which worked.

It's definately not set to too high a resolution. (no driver installed for it anyway).

I even disabled the onboard graphics to try and force it onto the PCI-E slots but it still didn't work.

So I ended up getting it refunded as I thought it was faulty.

Eventually I got another Gigabyte 7970 Ghz from a completely different shop, But it's still showing exactly the same symptoms as before.

My system specs are.

- i5 3570K (not overclocked)
- Gigabyte z77X-D3H Mother board
- Corsair 760W Power Supply
- 8GB Corsair Vengeance
- 120GB Samsung SSD
