My Cousin has given me his Packard Bell iXtreme Gold MC 1807, I want to max-it-out.

CPU (max)

Please can you advise, what I need, money isn't a problem (within reason).

I understand that you would like to get something out of this compture but it is around 8 years old and even the best processor that we can put in the board is going to still leave you behind the times. You might find better value by going to local store and picking up the lowest cost system they have and it should still be more powerful than this system could.
