I have an FX-8150 which I'm trying to oc to 4.6ghz. It prime95's for hours with 4.5 @ 1.350 but every time I try to run prime95 with vcore at 1.365 or higher the computer just shuts down without bsod or a restart or anything, like someone hit the power switch. This happens at all clock speeds with a manually set voltage. I have an OCZ 800W psu and m5A99FX mobo. Any help to pin down the issue would be greatly appreciated before I start buying psu's and tearing my case apart. I was hoping to put my new liquid cooler to work :/
EDIT: I believe I discovered the problem. My mobo was defaulting LLC to extreme, turned it down to medium/high and everything has been doing fine so far. I think my VRM was overheating. Thanks Cons.
