Not receiving emails sent from yahoo. Have Windows 8. What can I do to fix it?

If you log into the Yahoo site, check your mail there and the email you are looking for hasn't arrived, it has absolutely nothing to do with Windows 8. In fact, in most scenarios where you don't receive this email, Windows 8 (or any version of Windows for that matter) is not to blame.
If you are using a mail client like Outlook 2010 or 2013, you should check to see whether the client can still Send and Receive any mail at all. Have you changed your password recently? There are a million reasons why you wouldn't be able to receive this message.

I had the same trouble with btyahoo mail.I solved it by clicking on the grey rectangular icon in the address bar.If a webpage is incompatible with internet explorer 10 a grey rectangular icon is displayed in the address bar.If you click on it it changes to blue making the webpage compatible.When I did this Yahoo stated that its webpage was not compatible with internet explorer 10 and to go to a previous version.There was a link on the webpage to do this.Having read your message again I think the computer you are getting your e-mails from want to go back to a previous version of Yahoo.
