Best Air Cooler for 3770k overclocking under $50

I'm planning to get a 3770k paired with a Gigabyte Z77-UD5H but I can't pick a good cooler to overclock it at least around 4.2-4.5ghz under $50 Could anyone experienced with overclocking or have the same parts tell me your thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!

Its the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 evo. There is his little brother for 8$ less the hyper 212 plus too which does a nice job too.

Beware it's really tall (12 CM) so make sure your case is plenty large. I can go over some of your ram slots too.

I just began testing on my I5-3570k (which is an ivy bridge) , but I'm getting nice results (I think).

For instance I'm testing a 4.3 ghz overclock at stock voltage (not on auto but on +0.000000000000) and I'm getting 77 celcius while stressing my cpu with Intel burning test.

Agreed, I have the 212 plus and overclock my 2500k to 4.5 with a max temp of 65C in prime95. The 212 evo is a more efficient cooler though, it makes better contact with the cpu, instead of being pipes sandwiched between aluminum the entire plate that contacts the cpu is solid copper with no ridges. My recommendation would be the Hyper Evo 212.

Its such a great cooler, quite massive but it keeps my cpu ultra cool and it runs almost silent. Got it based on some awesome reviews.

Yeah I heard good things about 212 EVO. Btw if ever I get the Noctua NH-D14 which is worth extra $60 over 212 EVO, would it really make a difference in temps when overclocking 3770k around 4.2-4.5ghz? Cuz I heard that IVY runs hotter when overclocked compared to SANDY.. I just want to achieved a stable 24/7 Overclock with temps not higher than 70degress when in Full load on all cores.
