CPU - AMD 3.4 GHz AM3 Phenom II 965 Processor
CD ROM - HP dvd1260i DVD Burner Internal Optical Drive
Mo. Bo. - ASRock 970 EXTREME3
V card - Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6450 1 GB DDR3 Graphics Card
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 500 GB Desktop Internal Hard Drive

please check that these parts are compatible to each other
b'coz I am new at pc building & this is my first pc

it's been ages since i looked at amd boards, so i am not aware of their socket types, so i cant help you there.

but if this is for gaming, then dont expect much from a 6450. get at least a 7770. just my 2 cents. also, rams are cheap, get 8gb (2x4)

550 watts PSU seems like you might be running at peak power all of the time, better for at least 650 watts to provide adequate surplus power when required by the video card and cpu.

Also, 4gb orf ram is okay for basic Office apps, better to go with 8gb.
