Long time lurker looking for advice on a daw/video edit computer. Already have an i7 3770 which i am building this system around. I also have monitor. Wont be overclocking. no crossfire. need the firewire adapter for an older camera. Will most likely be using extended cables to keep the tower in an adjacent room so a silent case wont be necessary.
Budget is under $1000. Any help appreciated. Nothing is written in stone except the i7.
