My USB stick broke.

My USB stick has broke into two 4 pieces (1 two pieces of the case and 2 the memory detached from the usb head) and it is very important i'm in college and it has all of my work on it that I need. My friend told me that I could bring it to a computer place and they can restore it.. is this true if so where may i go?

If its in a good shape enough to be soldered or something to fix it then yes. If its badly broken try going to see if its still possible anyways

As stated many times around here. If it's important it needs to be backed up - often. If you can get it repaired, get another and make a copy every couple of days.
