Update failure loop, no updates have Ben installed

So since getting my computer in Feb, I haven't been able to install any updates.
It goes in an failure "configuring Windows Update, reverting changes" screen . After three restarts or so, it starts normally, but none of the 40 or so updates are installed!
How do I find which one is faulty? A way to fix it?
If the Anwsers is refresh my pc... I am not doing it, it took way to long and it would mean downloading so much stuff again on a metred connection

This just happened on a system I was working with, found the answer hopefully it will work for you. See if update KB2647753 is on that list, if so just select that one and do the install and restart after that the other updates should work.

edit: just saw this is under windows 8 so that update probably is not in the list. What system do you have? For windows 8 another forum said to disable all non Microsoft services via msconfig then try doing the install.
