I believe the ASrock Z77 Extreme4 has more features and only a tiny bit more expensive. You can try to find a Powercolor 7870 MYST or a SAPPHIRE 7870 XT. These cards use the Tahiti LE chip which means it's a crippled 7950 without paying the premium.

I will most likely pick up a SSD later down the road, i'm trying to stay under 800 dollars

I was really considering the Extreme 4 but I'm very lenient on staying under 900 dollars. (which my build is right on the dot) I also thank you for telling me about these variations of the 7870, but both are out of stock on newegg (my primary place for buying parts) and If i were to buy it elsewhere, it would go over my budget

You might want to considering purchasing at NCIX US(United States version, the company is Canadian base and it also ships world wide now, world wide that is if your country supports paypal). They have sweet deals EVERYDAY including CPU+MOBO combos that can help you save a ton.

I would not suggest the cx (builder series) of the corsair psu. I would choose any other corsair hx,tx, it doesn't matter, but the cx series is a lesser quality unit.
You could also go with antec, seasonic, xfx, pc power&cooling

What is your planned usage for this platform. If gaming, which games interest you?

I like ncix... They also have U.S. site. I find alot of deals there.

For the CPU, I found out Micro Center is having a sale on the i5 3570K for 189.99 and the closet one to me is in Marrietta, Geogria, and I happen to be going to Georgia this weekend for a mini vacation, so I think you know what I'm going to do :D
