Alright so this is my first time posting here, so I apologize if this is an old issue or in the wrong place. So I just recently came into possession of a nice little PC that includes the aforementioned Video Card. My problem is when I connect my tv to card via HDMI and boot, nothing displays. I can boot with a monitor connected to the dvi port which is also on the 5450. If I boot via DVI to monitor and then connect my tv to the computer via HDMI, it magically displays without incident and will stay even if I disconnect the DVI. I've searched and haven't found a way to bypass having to connect the DVI. Any help would be appreciated.

Random Stuff
Windows 7 ultimate 32x
2 GB ram

I did actually install the drivers off of AMD Support and Drivers Site. I used the Auto Detect option. I'm not sure which driver version was installed but I'm assuming it's the latest non beta for the card

I'm pretty advanced when it comes to software and the like but hardware is a whole new ball park for me. I did however find a solution that made me face palm. I realized that when I plugged the DVI in and then later plugged in the HDTV all went well, so I unplugged all video output and waited about 20 seconds, plugged in the HDTV and it worked. Why I hadn't tried this earlier I'm going to blame on being tired and frustrated. Thank you for your help friend! :)
