Is it possible to use the Microsoft signatures to get things past the secure boot?

If I could gather the Microsoft signatures (I know where to find them), could I then use them to boot Linux on a Windows 8 computer? I was just wondering because I am getting a little impatient with the signatures that Microsoft hasn't given to the Linux Foundation.

No. You may know where to find the signatures for the existing boot code, but that is not the same as the code signing certificates needed to sign your own code. Unless you can produce a boot loader with the exact same hash as the one Microsoft is using, the existing signatures are useless.

Ubuntu already has the boot loader built, but signatures that are in there at this moment. So, with this information, would it work?
