Hi, I'm new to this very helpful forums. I have a read several builds for motion graphics and animation, but they're way above my budget so I would really like some advice from you :D

What it is for...

* I need a system that can run smoothly and make use of graphic acceleration in Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter for rather big files (I work in advertising and Illustration, so I often find myself working in +7000px files). For motion graphics (which I also do for advertising) I usually need to have 3 or 4 different programs running at the same time, one of them being Adobe After Effects.
* I'm nowhere near a "power gamer"... pretty much the only game I play is "league of legends" (which my core i5 M450 laptop runs at 60fps, high settings) but I'd like to have a chance on more demanding games.
* I don't use any 3D software.
* I'd like to use 2 monitors (I've been working with a WXVGA for a long time, so I'd like to get a full HD monitor in the very near future, but I don't want it included in this build).

What I don't need...
* No monitor, no mouse, no keyboard, no drives, no HDD. Case optional, but new PSU seems to be a must (I think my case has a 400w PSU)
* I have no interest in overclocking or investing in cooling systems.

Budget:
* I'd love to keep it under $550 US.

Brands:
* I've had a great time with ASUS components and NVIDIA chipsets. but I'm open to sugestions.

What I've seen that could work (the last PC I built was in 2007, so forgive me if this matchup doesn't make much sense):

* mobo: Asus P8H61-M LX3 r2.0
* proc: i3 3220
* video: Asus gtx650 1gb ddr5
* ram: Corsair vengeance ddr3 1600 8gb

Thanks to anyone who can help me :D

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JFAe Total: $757.04

That would be the ideal build. The 8 cores and 32 gigs of ram plus the fast gpu would be perfect for what you need. You could play around with that and maybe come up with some thing better.
