Current Config: Hp Mediacenter PC M1070n ... w/P4 660 3.6Ghz ... 800Mghz FSB ... Socket LGA775 ... 650W PSU ... AMD Radeon HD5770 ............. Want to install Intel Dual Core E5800 ... same FSB/Socket (a free gift from friend) ... Will it work with my board and will it smoke the P4 660? Thanks for any info ... Jim

edit: If you still want this cpu, an LGA775 mobo that supports DDR3/DDR2 and up to QX9770 costs only around $60.

Thanks for the super quick and accurately inarguable response! Guess it's time to retire this dinosaur and shop eBay for an affordable solution ... I'll keep the Powercolor RADEON HD 5770 & Antec 650W PSU for my new build (BTW, that HD 5770, for the money (I paid $28.00) is HARD TO BEAT! Even in this antique it clocks 7.4 WEI and 35K+ in 3dMark03! Thanks again! Jim
