I am building a new gaming system using the Intel i7-3930k. I have been reading and searching many different articles with benchmarks trying to decide which board will be the best to go with. The limit of what I am trying to spend on a motherboard is no more than $500. I want a board that will last me at least a few years and have expandability plus having the ability to be overclocked as well. My intention is to install either 24gb or 32gb of ram with 2, 1 TB drives plus 2 Velicoraptor drives as well. I did not have intention on using an SSD but if thats the way to go I could buy one of those as well. With that being said the motherboards I have looked at so far are:
1. ASRock Fatal1ty X79 Professional ATX Intel Motherboard
2. ASUS Sabertooth X79 ATX Intel Motherboard
3. ASUS Rampage IV Formula ATX Intel Motherboard
4. GIGABYTE G1.ASSASSIN2 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
5. ASUS Rampage IV Extreme Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
Which Board will be the best in this type of setup and what I described? Thank you in advance!
