hey guys I didn't know where to post this so dont judge

lately i experience bizarre system crashes most of the times while playing games or even while just surfing on the internet.

I play about 20-30 mins and my system shut itself down. It happened to me 20+ times in the last days. Impossible to play games

My system is:
intel quad core i7 2600k 3.4 ghz
Ram memory 8gb Corsair CMP8GX3M2A1600C9
750 cooler master power supply
p8p67 deluxe asus motherboard
Vga assus 570 gtx

I have the latest drivers and even switched windows from 7 to 8 but the crashes continue.
I checked the event viewer and there's couple of critical s:

* "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." Kernel-Power

* "The ScRegSetValueExW call failed for FailureActions with the following error:
Access is denied." Service Control Manager 7006

in windows 7, winlogon.exe would faill ( i scanned for viruses etc it was clean)

I have cooling on my ram, vga and the cpu and the temps are quite good: Cpu: 38 C , Gpu: 42 C
, hard drive: 37 (while surfing)

if someone can help me it will be appreciated

What did you run specifically, the memtest from bootable ISO or windows ram test?

Either way when you run a memtest it tests your RAM. If you get errors you have a bad stick of ram. So in a computer with say 2 sticks of ram you should first turn off the computer. Unplug the power to your Hard drive (this is to prevent damage as you will not be needing it for now), you will want to take out 1 of the 2 sticks of ram in my example.
This is because you want to test both sticks individually to see which one is bad. As you have bad ram. Now, run a full test on each stick of ram if in my example you have 2 sticks of ram but 1 fails the test then you know that ram is bad. So you need to replace that ram stick.

When you have finished testing each stick of ram and are done, don't forget to plug the power back into your hard drive.
Ram tests should be done via like hirens boot cd or you can download the bootable ISO from here
http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm

Do you need further help I can provide it.

Thanks for the info i found it very useful
I ran a windows ram test.
I will defiantly run the test again in boot later on

So to your opinion its most likely a faulty ram causing it ?
I have a limited life time warranty so I will ask to replace them

Hi:
Download the memtest software I gave you the link. To hell with windows mem test. You NEED to test EACH stick of ram individually okay.
If even 1 stick fails the test and has errors then it will cause you system errors. Think of it this way. If you have dirty gas in your gasoline in your car, your car will studder, it will cause you all sorts of issues.

You really need to test each stick of ram and really eliminate ram problems. Ram problems will cause really sporatic and stupid full system problems.

If you ever have random computer issues, it is ALWAYS best to run a full memtest.
