I'm running an AMD Phenom X4 965 3.4GHz with an MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum motherboard. My problem is that although all specifications for my processor indicate that it should be running at LESS than 1.4V, my motherboard is providing it with over 1.56v. Everything I've read says anything above 1.47ish is VERY dangerous. In the BIOS, this is what the 'Auto' setting does, and with manual settings, the minimum selectable voltage is 1.5v. If 1.5v is selected, I get 1.56 indicated in CPU-Z. I've experienced no temperature or stability issues, and since I plan to overclock once this is sorted anyway, do I need to worry?

I have similar issue with my 965 BE On an asrock m3a770de

I've just put it down to built in LLC (load line calibration) as I cannot find any sort of LLC controls on my bios while it may come in handy its annoying when overclocking i must admit, best you can do is fully search Bios for LLC options.

My 1.4V bios pumps out 1.45-1.47 load

Auto gives nearly its max 1.55v full load
