Solution

Is not that i want a seasonic or something with...
It is true that Seasonic makes great power supplies and that the psu you are referring to can give a little more that is not the way to plan.

Most power supplies are most efficient around the 50-60% of rate output. For longer life and the most efficient use of power (also meaning less heat) it is better to shoot for that.

Based on your MB and CPU I would surmise you plan to overclock. Going small on the power supply is not good.

This XFX is made by Seasonic and would work well in your build.

For your system it would be best if you went at least 500w, for the sake of power efficiency.

Have you bought all those components yet?

IE the sabretooth is both overpriced, and it's gimmick armor actually causes heat issues... XD

Get a $120 range ASUS motherboard like this:

And instead of the 660ti jump up to a gtx 670 bro!

^+1 That 550w from xfx is also made by seasonic.

Drop the overpriced mobo, get a gtx 670 + the xfx 550w

Your PSU is rated to supply almost all of it's 400watts down the 12v line, which is great. On my own machine I had a Kill-a-watt plugged in to my i5-3570k, 7850, 8GB, 2x7200 and 1xSSD and even if I ran a benchmark of every component all at once I oculdn't get it to pull more than about 220-230 watts from the wall. My PSU is 85% efficient, which means it had to supply about 187 - 195 watts to the machine. So it seems to me you'll be fine there.

My only question, why the heck a fanless PSU when you have a case with a bunch of fans?

in my country (pt the price of a 660 to 670 is to much for the performance really ) i got all the components (except of gpu i got my old gt 440)
I really want a good seasonic lower than 200 euros that can make low loise

the fans is until i mod the case i gonna put only 2 fans , my actual case is with full fans cause i got a bad psu 550 watts and make a lot of noise when i change psu i gonna take of the fans and mod the case. sorry for my bad english.

With my build , 1 gpu and 1 psu can a 400w work? (this particular psu ) is my question :)

Hello PTkawa,

It's recommended for you to use a solid 500+ Watt PSU with your build. I reckon there is a risk of power starvation for your GPU during high load times. However, it seems to me you already made up your mind on using the seasonic 400, and is only here to seek justification for a realistic decision. It's your call.

Warmest Regards,

Coffee

Is not that i want a seasonic or something with good quality for about long live psu , for 500-650watts what you recommend ?
ps: low noise profile if possible
and a low-mid budget for it <200 euros

Hello PTkawa,

XFX Core Edition Pro 550Watts [$69.99 USD] [Suggested by a previous user]
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013

SeaSonic S12II 520Watts [$64.99] [My suggestion]
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094

Both are very solid power supplies for the price. They are about 50-70 Euros each. Both will work extremely well with your build and have room for future upgrades.

Warmest Regards,

Coffee~

It should work just fine... if you want to be sure go buy a kill-a-watt and plug your machine in to it to see how much it's really using. I use an OCZ 550ZT and it works fine, but I hardly push power supplies, it's modular and has a rather large fan so that it runs a little quieter. It's a good chunk cheaper than the 400w silent one you mentioned.

If you swaped out the expensive MB, and PSU for one that's cheaper you could get yourself a pretty beefy video card and have much better games.
