Hey guys! This is my setup: Click Me!
I don't know if I should get the GTX 690 over the 7970CF. Would I experience micro stuttering with it as it is like a dual GPU? Any other suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!

If you really care about micro stuttering, then the x2 7970 is a better choice.

Stuttering is something your just going to have to deal with as it affects mainly dual and even single card setups. For price performance nothing beats 7970 Crossfire nothing!

Like Shoryuken eluded to in his sample build, you could pretty much eliminate microstuttering by having 3 cards. Tom's did a bunch of benchmarks with high end cards a while back to analyze microstuttering. 2x any card has microstuttering. Single and triple card set-ups have almost none.

But if you're just interested about the 690 vs 7970xfire, then go with the 7970xfire for performance.
