Currently Have: Corsair Builder Series CX600 600W PLUS Bronze [NOT THE V2]

I see many people choosing the 550W XFX as their PSU... is it better for me to return the CX600 for the XFX550W? It's $10 cheaper as well.. I just want that will help my stay running long-term, stability [I don't care about the $10 diff... I just want that is reliable and is better ofcourse.

First, 550W will be plenty for your build. You should have absolutely no worries there.

Second, the durability of that XFX power supply should be superior to...
The Seasonic-built 550W XFX is a better PSU than the CWT-built Corsair. If you're not planning any upgrades, however, your system will put so little stress on it that the Samxon capacitors it contains should not heat up and die early. If you're planning future upgrades though, that would use considerably more power (e.g. a graphics card like a HD7970 or GTX670) I believe it would be worth switching them.

Ok, but with no future plans of upgrading / and definently not getting a new graphics card (as I don't game hardcore..) .. nor will I be doing any crossfire/SLI.. the CORSAIR CX600 will be fine in this case since it won't make a difference of the 'little stress' my system will be producing?

First, 550W will be plenty for your build. You should have absolutely no worries there.

Second, the durability of that XFX power supply should be superior to the Corsair CX600. As someone else already mentioned, the XFX PSU is manufactured by Seasonic (top notch PSU brand) while that COrsair PSU is built by CWT (decidedly not top-notch manufacturer but not bottom of the barrel either).

My recommendation would definitely be that you take the XFX option over the COrsair PSU for your build. XFX is a reputable company and they stand behind their products. Check out the warranty difference even: XFX provides a 5 year warranty for their PSU, while Corsair will only back the CX600 for 3 years. I think it is definitely worth the swap (and I know you said it doesn't matter to you but getting back that extra $10 is a nice side bonus when upgrading to a better quality PSU).
