Sorry guys, I just want everything perfect for my needs as this is my first build lol.

Main desire: music production, and I was thinking do I really need a GPU if I'm only going to be doing music and no gaming? Maybe if I do want to do gaming like just CS:GO not a big deal low-med settings i dont care I could probably buy a HD 6670 for cheap like $70 which would total BUILD #2 of $710

Here's the question: Stick with Build #1 and enjoy the advantages of a good GPU and not have to worry OR go with BUILD #2 and don't care about the GPU as the 3570K comes with a w/e on-board graphics card but the build is $80 cheaper and if I do decide to play a game just for CS:GO I could find a cheap card in the future for like $60-70 which will then add up to be the same amount as the Build #1

What do you guys think... [ I promise this will be my last question! LOL ] =]

Solution
You should get the second one. You could probably scale it down to a 3470 and save yourself a couple of bucks. (That and you might be able to grab a mobo that doesn't support overclocking for a nice price reduction.)

Did you already ask this? Double posts are frowned upon. If it is just music with no games then the overclocked CPU is a waste. If you aren't going to overclock then you don't need a Z77 mb. An H77 mb will do and it is cheaper.

I would go with the K chip on a H77 board and use the extra money to buy a 128Gb SSD (or higher) to put the OS and programs on.

jnkweaver, no I did not ask about this. I posted my build initially but im posting this as a decision between TWO different builds now. The question isnt about the mobo..

This is more so of the CPU + GPU related question in regards to the two different builds...
