Sorry guys I don't know how to re-open a thread i made which I chose an "answer/solution" for.. so I apologize for re-creating a thread.

I forgot to mention as many of you guys are saying to get the XFX 550W.

I currently at my house have the Corsair CX600, so as many of you guys said to get the XFX 550W as it is better. Is it worth it for me to return my CX600 and pay additional $10 for the XFX550W instead?

CX600 = $60
XFX550W = $70 (w/ MIR = $60) but still paying $70..

No it isn't worth it. Keep the CX600 and have fun with the computer

haha you guys sure? It's not a hassle at all as I need to head back to the store anyways tommorow. I could return it and then pick up the XFX PSU with my GPU.

I just want stability. I'll go through the hassle and additional $10 if it's worth it.

So answer is No? stick with the CX600W? :eek: (I just want your guys honest opinion of what you guys would do! Don't worry about the hassle I have to go through - take that out of this situation!)

That's incorrect, it's the same with different name, there's the xxx edition, black edition, but the xfx core edition is a good psu, it's made by seasonic.
@ OP the CX600 is a decent unit(and you'll be fine with it), but the XFX 550 Core edition is a seasonic psu and has better capacitors than the CX(it has inferior SamXon capacitors) which is the entry level series of corsair psus and it's was made by channel well.
