XFX radeon 7870 DD or gigabyte radeon 7870 ?

well im wondering what Graphix card i should buy, the XFX 7870 DD or the
Gigabyte 7870 .. i already bought the gigabyte version and i had to RMA it. im kinda scared to buy a new gigabyte version. but wich one should i buy ?

Neither. The Gigabytes are known to have coil whine issues and the XFX DDs are overpriced and do not cool well.

Sapphrie, HIS or MSI are great cards to look at.

^ that's a cut down 7950 and significantly better than a normal 7870. Especially from xfx or gigabyte

They have the same price and have similar reviews, so it comes down to personal choice. I would go gigabyte, but you seem to feel more comfortable with xfx. The gigabyte comes factory overclocked at 1.1 GHz, which is a nice bonus.

XFX if you can go with the OC version which is really nice, But keep in mind they get kinda hot and thats way there warranty is awsome
