Replace GTX 560M with GTX670M

greetings all,

i was wondering if i can change the GTX 560M in my Qosmio x770 with a GTX 670M which have all the same specs that can make it possible, while the 560 & 670 have the same power consumption, PCIe & card type ( MXM type B 3 )?
please help if anyone have done it, let me know in details.

AFAIK, Toshiba don't do upgrades ... in my experience, that's only possible with custom built lappies such as Clevo

you can't upgrade laptop video cards, they are made certain ways for different vendors and layout changes depending on size, thermals, etc.

My old Toshiba Satellite had 8600m's in SLI. I swapped those out and replaced them with 8800m's when my friend replaced his laptop. So just because it's not a boutique custom chassis doesn't mean that you can't upgrade the graphics..

However, in this case, you cannot upgrade the graphics.

im prety sure you cant replace gpus on laptops uneless you have a custom laptop or replace the entire mobo
