im trying to decide on a psu for my next pc build,

optical drive- ASUS SATA 25X dvd burner

mother board- GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H

CPU- intel i7 3770k

Graphics card- nvidia geforce gtx 680

RAM- G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB)

Hard Drive- Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s

Im considering a corsair TX 650W psu, will that be enough for this rig or should I go up to the TX 750W?

A single GTX 680 system just needs a quality 550w power supply. Stick with Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, XFX, Silverstone, Enermax, OCZ, Antec or the higher efficiency Rosewill units for quality.

The Corsair 650TX is not bad but at $90 you can do better.

The Seasonic is modular and Seasonic makes the best power supplies on the market hands down. The Rosewill is also very good. Both these options are 80 Plus Gold certified. The Corsair is only 80 Plus Bonze.

PSU requirements by card. For an entire system of course.
