Hello,
Let me first say I recently got into building pc's so am no expert.
Anyways on my recently built pc I needed an extra sata cable so I went to the living room computer to disconnect one from one of the two dvd drives that dont get used. I did this while the pc was off BUT the power cable was connected.
Now the pc will power on but nothing happens, the bios doesnt pop up and the screen just stays blank.
I was going to replace that computer anyways it was really outdated but just out of curiousity wanna know if having the power cable connected while unplugging a sata cable screwed it up?
