1500 posts on Tom's and you don't understand that different architectures can't be compared by clock speed yet? You can only compare CPUs of the same make and model using clockspeed. By your logic a Pentium D 3.0Ghz is faster than a Core2Duo at 2.4Ghz. Nope. A Pentium D 3.0Ghz is roughly equal to a Core2Duo at 1.8Ghz because the Core2 uses a much superior architecture.
