So i have in mind a GTX660 (non titan) what are everyones thoughts on this as i plan on using the nvidia 3d for movies and maybe for gaming im not quite sure yet.

From my experience the best way to view 3d is by pc through a nvidia optimized monitor. I also plan on have 3 monitors hooked up to the gfx card.

Any help would be great thankyou!

The GTX660 does have the features you want. Bear in mind though that gaming in 3D Vision will usually drop frame rates around 50%. And if it's 3D Vision surround gaming, the frame rates drop even more (though ['m guessing you're not gaming in triple monitors). It can run 3D Vision but in most modern/demanding titles, you'll have to lower some graphics settings and even then don't expect very high frame rates.

Im not sure about quality, but if it works, you're golden. Also, you could spend another $20 and get 8 gigs ram, maybe and a more reliable psu/mobo? your choice.

im not sure the intel dual core 2.9ghz will be able to handle all the 3d blu ray movies and high res gaming not 3d triple monitors without lag. Im looking for something like the i7 with the rest budgeting apart from the graphics of course

you cant really fit a gtx 660 and a i7 in a $500 bugdet. But, you could fit a an i3 3xxx in there maybe. And yes, an i3 would definately play movies (the pentium would too). For gaming, an i3 would lift the bottleneck, but then you'd have to go cheaper on the gfx. especially if you want a bluray player, as thatll add 40$ to the cheap optical drive.

QUOTE from 2010!! http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/blu-ray-3d-3d-vision-3d-home-theater,2636-7.html: The PC driving everything doesn't have to be a powerhouse, as long as you have a graphics card that can accelerate Blu-ray 3D's MVC codec. This means that if you're running one of the GeForce cards listed above, your PC will only require a modern dual-core CPU.
