Hello

I have a msi gtx 660 non ti factory oc card, It runs just fine but sometimes games crash (games like Battlefield bad company2, sometimes bf3) It seems to be a driver issue sometimes because it says something like 'the driver stopped working and recovered'. But after doing some research i've seen people having crashes with factory oc'ed cards. The problem here could be that they are overclocked but dont get enough voltage or something. If anyone knows how to set the voltage correct/ give tips on how to fix this I would be thankful.

My specs are; i5 3570k at stock, 8gb ram 2*4, 120gb ssd, 1tb wd blue. I've checked temps but everyting stays cool, gpu stays under 50 and gpu under 45 on full load.

Thanks for the help

My first guess would be the driver. If you have this issue you can roll back to a previous driver that is stable. From what I can tell, the updates to drivers usually fix performance in new (just released) games. BF3 is not like that. I don't see a point to updating driver if it crashes more.

I have had the issue you are talking about and never thought it was due to voltage.

Thanks for the reply

Indeed it would be weird if the factory oc would not be stable, im currently on the 314.07 driver, what driver do you suggest that is stable? It happens mostly in battlefield bad company 2 (2010) bf3 works fine, some crashes from time to time but no issue for me

I run 314.07 and have been happy. You could try a Beta driver: 314.21 or roll back to 310.90
