Do I need a wireless card?

Hi,
I'm going to build my own computer for the first time, and I'm wondering if I need a wireless card or something to connect to the internet?

Well, do you use wireless? If so, then yes you will need one.

If you have a router, just plug the LAN cable into your motherboard. If you want wireless, then yes you need to buy a wifi card.

alright thanks guys. I will be using internet. So my next question is what would you recommend? I'm mostly going to be using this computer for gaming, so what wireless card would you suggest?

Raycorrupt :

I prefer running a long cable from router to my computer. Always better than wi-fi.
I don't use a wireless card but they are pretty simple and standard,..can't go wrong.
