Hi im looking to build a gaming pc for about $1000, im coming from having a macbook pro and it just does not cut it with even doing simple things like browsing and watching youtube. I am currently living in singapore and was wondering where i should buy my parts (are you able to buy from amazon/newgg and ship anywhere) the places that you can buy parts from locally are quite expensive.

This will be my first build so i think that this will be a pretty good starting point for my first pc.

So far what i have picked is as follows:
intel i5 3570K
asrock ATX Z77 extreme 4
hyper 212 evo (will this be enough to overclock?)
8gb corsair vengence 2x4gb 1600mhz
1TB western digital caviar black

Needed:
GPU: budget $250
PSU: cheapest without skimping on quality
Case: $50-$60
Monitor: 1080p i think the sizes are something like 21.5 or 23 i dont want/need any bigger
Mouse: cheap and quality
Keyboard: cheap and quality
Case fans: i am also looking for some case fans with blue leds

I will be looking to overclock the cpu to about 4.4-4.5ghz and maybe if i can the gpu. I also wanted to know if the cooler will be enough to allow this overclock. I will be playing games such as:
battlefield 3
Black ops 2
guild wars 2
and other fps games

Any input will be appreciated also if you have recommendations for parts that i have already picked.

Hey,

Here is a little build that I made for your needs:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KazU

It is all from Amazon, and I haven't check what is what, and where it can go (for your build, Singapore), But the components is what I like to just say about:

All the stuff you wished for is there:

GFX: XFX Cards are great: I have one and like their power supplies, they haven't let me down. A 7850 will run all games really well, and will last for a long time. I have a 7770 and I play BO2 on that and the frame rate is superb, over 60FPS. I don't have the 7850 but My firend has it and it is a great card for budget extreme's.

PSU: The 600W Would be fine, PC Part Picker is saying 391W, and If you were to upgrade and crossfire or add different things, it would work well, even on a heavy load. IDK if you like Non Modular or Modular supplies.

Case: Nice 300R has a lot of Fan intakes and outtakes. Very good case with room for ventilation and some management for cables.

Monitor: Don't know A lot about monitor's, but the AOC brand make good monitors.

Mouse: Picked a razer for quality

Keyboard: ditto

Case fans: Still looking for some but I picked some Corsairs just in case i can't find any.

Hope I could help in any means possible!
