Not necessarily correct advice. If it's a factory-built PC or a laptop, you should only download drivers from that computer manufacturer's website. They have custom-made drivers written especially for your model, and you can't get them anywhere else.
You should only download drivers direct from AMD or NVIDIA if the graphics adapter is a card that you bought as an upgrade.
